GORGEOUS

this melody will be stuck in my head until i am consumed by the vultures.

Miyolophone responds:

see now that the image of the vultures has entered your brain it will never leave

(thank you!!!)

ok so i had no idea you were previously VortexMusic up until this point and i'm both inspired and astounded by how much you've improved in such a short amount of time. your sound design, production, composition, and literally everything has evolved so much since i've last checked your stuff out! be proud of yourself (:

this song is amazing, keep at it

3YEOfficial responds:

Thank you so much!!!! I could say the same about you, your stuff is super inspiring as well :D

this is really really good! the way the drums fade in as the piano becomes more structured is magical, and i'm consistently surprised and intrigued by the chords you use. the sine lead / wobbly thing that comes in at 1:00 is lovely as well, probably my favorite surprise in the entire song. amazing work (:

vocaloutburst responds:

Thanks for the kind words!! That sine lead was my favorite too ;) Also, your track was INSANELY GOOD, can't wait to see what you come up with for this next round! Best of luck to you and @1f1n1ty!!!

realllly great work, i can sense a ton of creativity in this piece. looking forward to the rest of the stuff you put out in this competition ( :

BurneMusic responds:

haha! If I make it that far :/

why are you so good at everything >:V

midimachine responds:

hey i can't play flute, i got a friend to do that for me

did u discover fruity squeeze or is that an entirely different bitcrusher at the beginning

Onefin responds:

it's actually effector's lofi setting ;)

this story is so much cooler than what i thought it was when i first heard it haha

amazing work! i love the little boinks and squeaks you added at the first orchestral part :^)

Miyolophone responds:

I literally could not have done it without you billboard man

I actually thought your interpretation of the story was cleverer than mine haha (although there is a personal allegory for my recent experiences as a musician built into the track that you would have no reason to pick up on)

gotta say, this is probably my favorite song of yours now.

the entire thing manages to ooze creativity through unique sound design and compositional choices while still maintaining your trademark style. i absolutely LOVE the way you introduce certain instruments or even entire sections by chopping them up (1:29, 1:42, 3:29, etc.), giving them even more impact. i also really enjoy the warbly synth that comes in at 1:46, which (correct me if i'm wrong) might be the same synth you hear in the background at 0:54 but modified? and don't even get me started on 2:34, in all of its glorious glitchiness & really-cool-lead-ness.

there's a minor thing i noticed at 3:21 where you can hear a bit of popping during the attack of the synth that progressively gets faster, but other than that amazing work!!

Onefin responds:

me: "welp the B and C sections aren't vastly different so i gotta get crazy to make the transitions still interesting"

"i guess since my cpu is dying might as well play with some renders"

thanks for dropping by star! yeah i really like this track too one of the rare times that happens

the warbly synth is just the same synth from the first drop except with the 'warble' option turned on :PPPPP lol

popping at 3:21 huh gotta listen to that when my headphones work
